Project: Android Pigeon Walkie Talkie
The goal of this project is to write a basic Talking Tom-like chat app for two devices. Kids can build a pigeon (some customizable features like color, voice distortion settings?) and connect to another device to chat via their pigeon.

Bio: An elite squad of kid programmers that build Android apps to save the universe!
MIT App Inventor is a "block programming" platform that enables kids (and adults) to create cool Android apps, without writing a line of code. See the website at http://appinventor.mit.edu
The goal of the A-Loft meetings are to introduce kids of different levels to computer programming concepts and how they can be applied to solve real world problems. Its a "club" that emphasizes self learning with the help of friends and mentors.
