Project: Community Collage Art
This is a Community Collage Art Project and we are creating an Austin City and Park Scene! People will also have the opportunity to create a small individual collage artwork to take home. We will be creating the community collage using fabric salvaged at the Maker Faire!

Bio: I make batik fabric collage art. I enjoy working with batik fabric as my medium. I love the colors and surprises that emerge in the fabric during the wax/dye process. This process is slow, much like a turtle pace, but the outcomes are very exciting! I enjoy seeing the possibilities and it is the colors in the fabric that often guide the design process! I enjoy working as an artist in Austin, with a supportive community that celebrates and recognizes its artists and musicians. I have called Austin home for 15 years and I am originally from Brisbane, Australia.
