Project: This demonstration showcases students and the robots they've developed during the 2012-2013 competition season.
For more than twenty years, FIRST ("For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology") has been helping inspire students from grades K through 12 to beomce science and technology leaders.
This year, over 100,000 students from grades K through 12 will participate in one of FIRST's four robotics competitions - Junior FIRST Lego League (Jr. FLL), FIRST Lego League (FLL), the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
This demonstration showcases students and the robots they've developed during the 2012-2013 competition season.
Bio: Chaps Robotics, the Westlake H.S. Robotics program, is comprised of over 50 students competing in FIRST's FTC and FRC competition. Five years old, this program has already seen significant success and looks forward to continuing to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.
